Writing Workshop II: World Building!

Make your characters and your story real by creating a well defined setting. Whether you are preparing for a campaign or writing a novel, the world around your characters requires special attention. This workshop offers a choice between three focuses: building campaign settings, science fiction settings, fantasy settings. All three facilitators are also experienced Game Masters. No section is limited to individuals writing novels or gamers. All kinds of creative storytellers are welcome.

Seating is limited! You must sign up at least one hour before the event. Masks are required at the request of the author. Proof of COVID vaccination is still required.

Pandemonium Books & Games is organizing events for aspiring writers. Do you want to write speculative fiction, have your books on a shelf in a store like Pandemonium someday? We support our community not only of readers, but of writers too. We will host a writing workshop 4 times a year–February, May, August, November–ending with NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Each event will be something a little different and feature an expert and feedback for your work. RULES FOR ATTENDING: 

• Masks are required and must be kept on at all times for this event. No food or drink is allowed in the author events area. If you need to take a drink or remove your mask for any reason, you may quietly leave the author events area to do so and return with your mask back on. 

• Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.

• Advance online registration is required.

• Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
