There’s unfinished business for heroes who want to save the North Coast and its shining urban center, Pinnemapolis, the City of Potions. Vladimir’s allies wait for their murderous moment. The forces of life might need you (yes, you) to find the one thing that could bring Vladimir down: a thing of glass and air, of delicacy and risk and danger. The prophecy says you’ll find that thing in the Whatlands, the foggy plateau of legendary mystery, halfway to the clouds, that lies west of the fields and before the Last Coast. People who go there supposedly don’t come back. Or else they come back changed. Have they met ghosts? Do they travel in time? Can anyone live out there? If it’s so mysterious, or uninhabitable, why do the Whatlands also have a reputation, back to ancient times, for linens, weaving, and glassware? Can you find out? Will you survive the experience?
This self-contained one-night adventure welcomes new players, both teen and adult. It also links up to previous (and future!) Wednesday night adventures. We will have plenty of combat along with intrigue, people to save, and secrets to uncover. We will provide a few pre-generated characters for players unable to make their own. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character. Note that we start at 6pm and will finish no later than 9:30pm.
