Wednesday D&D: The School Beyond the Deep

A DnD adventure for fourth level characters

There's something special about the Marinecurie School: the city's newest, it's also the only school where merfolk share classrooms with land folk like humans and dwarves (and tieflings, too). Students help to decide how it's run. Adult merfolk, and humans (and tieflings, too), see it as an example of coexistence. But it might not survive. Someone, or something's been kidnapping those students. And-- to judge by the skeleton that just washed up from the harbor-- eating them too. Can you find out what, and why, and turn back or defeat the menace, before the whole student body becomes a school lunch?

This self-contained one-night adventure welcomes new players; it also links up to events from previous (and future!) Wednesday night adventures. We will have plenty of combat along with investigations, urban intrigue, people to save, and secrets to uncover on land and sea. We will provide a few pre-generated characters for players unable to make their own. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character.
