West past the Century Mountains, over the tableland of Cather's Basket, lie the secrets to the cruel syndicates that threaten your livelihoods, your friends, and your city. Before you can solve those mysteries and keep the city safe, you'll have to make your way up through the clouds, among the bird-people, whose fantastic spires, floating nests, rope-bridges, winged ladders, and filigreed beauty won't protect them from their own civil strife. Can you resolve-- or avoid-- the fight for their throne, and get past their haunted gatehouse, and protect all you held dear, back East?
This self-contained one-night adventure welcomes new players, both teen and adult. It also links up to events of previous (and future!) Wednesday night adventures. We will have plenty of combat along with intrigue, people to save, and secrets to uncover. We will provide a few pre-generated characters for players unable to make their own. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character. Feel free to get in touch if you've got questions! Continuing or regular players should be able to level up after their accomplishment on this adventure.
RULES FOR ATTENDING:
- Proof of vaccination is no longer required. If COVID levels rise, masking will be required. We will make an announcement about this on our website and social media if re-instated.
- Photos may be taken at events to be used in our social media or promotional materials. Please inform the staff member running the event if you do not want your photo taken.
- Advance online registration is required.
- Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
- No food is allowed in our event space. Drinking is allowed.
