Wednesday D&D: City of Wheels and Wyrmlings

Your bayside city looks like a good place to stay: you and fellow adventurers have made it a little better, a little safer. Merchants trust one another: children, once again, feel safe. Residents can pedal themselves across town on newly invented two-wheeled metal vehicles. Messages travel the length of the city in minutes thanks to a network of friendly birds. The city's famous potions no longer malfunction. Merfolk and humans might even be living in peace. So why are those new metal vehicles suddenly fighting their owners, or speeding away riderless? Why are so many coins suddenly vanishing from merchants' tills and adventurers' sacks and working people's pockets? And what new power, or villain, or network of monsters, shakes the streets and houses, about to emerge dangerously-- or promisingly-- from its hiding places underground?

This self-contained one-night adventure welcomes new players, both teen and adult. It also links up to events of previous (and future!) Wednesday night adventures. We will have plenty of combat along with investigations, urban intrigue, people to save, and secrets to uncover. We will provide a few pre-generated characters for players unable to make their own. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character. Feel free to get in touch if you've got questions!
