Wednesday D&D: Candlekeep Mysteries

For those joining the first session, please start at 1st level.
For those joining future sessions, you will need to start your characters at the lowest level of the current tier. (XP can be purchased with gp.)
The current tier is Tier 1.

Character Creation:

Use Standard Array for ability scores.
Do not begin with starting class equipment. Wait until session to determine your starting wealth, as the DM offers more equipment pack options than listed in the PHB.
You can play as any race, class, or subclass listed in the Player’s Handbook, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything.

The DM employs the following house rules:

UA content must be confirmed with the DM. No content from Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount, Planewalker’s Guide to Ravnica, Mythic Odysseys of Theros is allowed.
The Battle Master fighter archetype is not allowed! The DM will elaborate on why in session.
Please note that the DM has drafted several non-optional changes to some subclasses. These changes will be offered at the table.
A compilation of rules dealing with other game mechanics will be offered at the table. Most are for the purposes of rules clarifications.
