Learn to Play: Veiled Fate

Join us at Pandemonium for a special, 3-hour session, featuring the strategic-deduction game, Veiled Fate! You’re especially welcome if you’ve never before played hobby board games (and are curious about where to start).

If you ever wanted to know what it's like to be the god of an ancient pantheon, competing with the other gods to have the best demigod offspring, this game may be for you. Also, if you like the simplicity of The Resistance or Avalon (but not all of the yelling and finger pointing), you may see this game as something worth trying.

That's because Veiled Fate (2-8 players) is, according to the publisher, a "strategic deduction" game. The best description of the game is in the product description (linked before), but know that it takes some of the traditional elements of social deduction games (hidden rolls, bluffing) and abstracts them onto an area control/worker-placement-ish game.

So if an evening of being meddlesome and petty to your divine colleague's offspring sounds like fun, or if you just want to spend time with others who want to play, come on out! And if you prefer other games, stay tuned to the Events Calendar for future announcements!

And do note that, even though our demoed game has limited seats, you can still come by Pandemonium for our Open Tables Sunday night. 

RULES FOR ATTENDING: 

• Proof of vaccination is no longer required. If COVID levels rise, masking will be required. We will make an announcement about this on our website and social media if re-instated. 
• Photos may be taken at events to be used in our social media or promotional materials. Please inform the staff member running the event if you do not want your photo taken.
• Advance online registration is required.
• Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
• Food is not allowed in our event space. Drinks are allowed.
