K9 glass, sometimes referred to as K9 crystal, is a variety of optical borosilicate crown glass. The letter "K" is a reference to the German word for "crown" (Krone) and the number 9 refers to the lead oxide content of the glass (9%). K9 glass has high optical clarity and is used in the making of prisms and lenses used for optics and lasers. It has been regarded as a difficult-to-cut material because of its superior mechanical properties.

Details
This 30mm D20 has black engraved numbers featuring a constellation pattern and comes inside a black leather square snap closure case. As this die is made of glass, we encourage rolling on a padded surface, such as a dice tray. We do not recommend directly rolling onto a table, especially if it is made stone, glass or wood.

Storage and Cleaning
To keep the surface shiny, you can wash it with warm soapy water. This will remove grime and dust that may detract from its appearance. We recommend storing it in a velvet lined bag or in the case it came with when not in use, or displayed on a lighted stand!
