The Floating City may be about to lose its source of magic, the power that's kept it going-- and made its canals and docks and spires beautiful-- for decades, since it found its place in the Vitamin Sea. The crime boss Rustic Silverhand, under house arrest but in control of powerful underlings, waits among those spires. The city manager would like some help, if you can find her. The wizard Marlin wants revenge on his once-beloved Arthur, and has come back from the deep to take it. You've got new spells, and old courage, and skills to match, and surprising new familiars. Can you find out how to save the city before it explodes, or sinks? Will you choose to fight the crime boss first, or is your priority underwater? Either way, what can you do about all those enchanted spikes in the city streets, not to mention the giant porcupines?
This one-night episode welcomes players new to this table, both teen and adult, as well as players who've been with us for a while. It also links up to previous adventures. There may be fights, negotiations, puzzles to solve, and new creatures to beguile, along with familiar faces. It is not designed for players new to DnD. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character. We will have pre-made twelfth-level heroes available if you don't have one you already want to play; if you've already played one of our pre-made heroes and want to continue with that character, you can keep them-- we'll have enough to go around. Note that we start at 6pm and will finish no later than 9:30pm. Feel free to get in touch if you've got questions!Â
RULES FOR ATTENDING:Â
- Proof of vaccination is no longer required. If COVID levels rise, masking will be required. We will make an announcement about this on our website and social media if re-instated.Â
- Photos may be taken at events to be used in our social media or promotional materials. Please inform the staff member running the event if you do not want your photo taken.
- Advance online registration is required.
- Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
- No food is allowed in our event space. Drinking is allowed.
