NaNoWriMo Meets TTRPGs

Writing fiction can be hard, but select storytelling tools from tabletop roleplaying games might make it easier -- especially for the work of writing that isn't just putting words on paper.

We'll use FATE Condensed during the event to introduce its character and worldbuilding tools, and then we’ll improvise a few scenes with the people and the world we create to test out some other ttRPG tips to help your scene-level craft. All you need to bring is a pencil and your imagination (and if you have any WIP elements, you can bring them for inspiration, too!).

Although this event won’t get you closer to your NaNoWriMo goal (and the organizers apologize in advance for that), we do hope it can help supercharge your writing for the days ahead: this month and beyond.

RULES FOR ATTENDING: 

• Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.
• Advance online registration is required.
• Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
• Masks are required and must be kept on unless drinking. No food will be allowed in our event space for the time being.
