Meet Hugo Award winning and Eisner Award-nominated author Marjorie Liu for a Q&A, book signing, and short reading as she discusses her new book: The Night Eaters vol. 1: She Eats the Night!

Chinese American twins, Milly and Billy, are having a tough time. On top of the multiple failures in their personal and professional lives, they're struggling to keep their restaurant afloat. Luckily their parents, Ipo and Keon, are in town for their annual visit. Having immigrated from Hong Kong before the twins were born, Ipo and Keon have supported their children through thick and thin and are ready to lend a hand--but they're starting to wonder, has their support made Milly and Billy incapable of standing on their own?

When Ipo forces them to help her clean up the house next door--a hellish and run-down ruin that was the scene of a grisly murder--the twins are in for a nasty surprise. A night of terror, gore, and supernatural mayhem reveals that there is much more to Ipo and her children than meets the eye.

NOTE: There are two separate ticket options for this event. The $24.99 ticket includes a copy of The Night Eaters vol. 1: She Eats the Night with purchase, the $5 ticket is just for those who wish to attend the event but DO NOT want a copy of The Night Eaters vol. 1: She Eats the Night. There will be additional copies of the graphic novel will be available for purchase before and after the event. 

RULES FOR ATTENDING: 

• Masks are required and must be kept on at all times for this event. No food or drink is allowed in the author events area. If you need to take a drink or remove your mask for any reason, you may quietly leave the author events area to do so and return with your mask back on. 
• Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.
• Advance online registration is required.
• Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
