Learn to Play: Mansions of Madness

Join us at Pandemonium for a special, 3.5-hour session, featuring the mystery board game, Mansions of Madness (2e)! You’re especially welcome if you’ve never before played hobby board games (and are curious about where to start) -- but this session will be a little different than our typical offerings. 

Mansions of Madness (2e) is about a team of investigators (1-5 players) putting a stop to some great evil bent on destroying the world. The way you do that is by entering a dangerous location, discovering the truth from the clues therein, and doing what you can to confront the evil actors bent on making sure you don’t survive the experience.

What makes this game more unique than others is that it’s almost exclusively run by software. We’ll use the backroom at Pandemonium to project the companion app on-screen, but know that the game still is played in person, on a table, with pieces. The app allows for a more dynamic experience than the previous edition, keeping track of NPCs you interview, monsters you encounter, and even where the creepy door at the end of a hallway leads.

RULES FOR ATTENDING: 

• Proof of vaccination is no longer required. If COVID levels rise, masking will be required. We will make an announcement about this on our website and social media if re-instated. 
• Photos may be taken at events to be used in our social media or promotional materials. Please inform the staff member running the event if you do not want your photo taken.
• Advance online registration is required.
• Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
• Food is not allowed in our event space. Drinks are allowed.
