Board Game Event: Games About Surviving [With a Sense of Humor]

Join us at Pandemonium for our 3-hour, bi-weekly session to learn and play games! You’re especially welcome if you’ve never before played hobby board games (and are curious about where to start).
This week, we’ll look at two survival games that are really about solving puzzles. One is fairly straight-forward and luck-based; the other is a bit more cerebral and requires a bit more derring-do (or ingesting alien flora) to survive.
The Coldest Night (1-4 players) is a game about burning things in order to stay warm during some unnamed calamity. The problem, of course, is that you never know what kindling you're going to find for your supply, and the fire needs to burn each turn to stave off frostbite. It can be a punishing game if you're unlucky, but it's also fast enough to play again if things don't go well.

February will be a lot of single-game demos, but double nights like tonight will likely be the events in March!
RULES FOR ATTENDING:
- Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.
- Advance online registration is required.
- Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
- No food will be allowed in our event space for the time being. Drinking is allowed.
